dc.description.abstract | Monitoring the activities and routines of the elderly requires continuous work and effort on the part of the care staff. It is vital to follow up on each user since abnormal behaviour could reveal the presence of a medical condition and, in these cases, early intervention is of utmost importance. In this paper, we deploy a room-level symbolic location system based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and present the results obtained from applying several methods capable of determining daily and weekly habits, non-invasive, using association rules and decision trees. | ca_CA |
