La dimensión modal y argumentativa de dímelo a mí y di que sí como intervenciones reactivas

Abstract

En esta investigación, analizamos dímelo a mí y di que sí, dos expresiones que tienen como origen una estructura oracional completa y como núcleo el verbo decir. Desde un punto de vista designativo estas formas constituyen enunciados exhortativos en los que se pide al interlocutor que se le proporcione una determinada información (dímelo a mí) o que responda afirmativamente (di que sí). Sin embargo, en la interacción coloquial, estas formas parecen haber desarrollado valores macroestructurales que se inscriben en el plano modal y argumentativo cuando se registran en intervención reactiva. En este contexto dialógico se utilizan para manifestar confirmación y acuerdo referido a la intervención iniciativa precedente y, al mismo tiempo, constituyen respuestas argumentativamente coorientadas con el interlocutor, en lasque los contenidos modales positivos aparecen intensificados.Para dar cuenta de la multidimensional y polifuncional de estas expresiones, tomamos como referencia el modelo teórico de la Macrosintaxis, desarrollado por Fuentes Rodríguez (2013, 2017a, 2019).

In this research, I analyze dímelo a mí and di que sí, two expressions that have as their origin a complete sentence structure and as their nucleus the verb decir. From a designative point of view, these forms constitute exhortative statements in which the interlocutor is asked to provide certain information (dímelo a mí) or to respond affirmatively (di que sí). However, in colloquial interaction, these forms seem to have developed macrostructural values that are inscribed in the modal and argumentative plane when they are registered in reactive intervention. In this dialogical context, they are used to express confirmation and agreement regarding the previous initiative intervention and, at the same time, they constitute argumentative responses co-oriented with the interlocutor, in which the positive modal contents appear intensified. To reflect the multidimensional and polyfunctional nature of these expressions, we take as a reference the theoretical model of Macrosyntax, developed by Fuentes Rodríguez (2013, 2017a, 2019).
