This paper documents the previous stages of the design of a biomimetic fish, capable of integrating among fish without causing stress symptoms and submersible to a depth of 20m for inspection and detection of breakages in the fishing nets. For this purpose, an exhaustive review of bioinspired fish developed in the last decades has been made and a classification, according to their mode of swimming and propulsion, has been carried out. In addition, the different micro-robots developed to study the behaviour of zebrafish are also described, emphasising their different designs, actuators, small electronic components and materials. Through the results obtained from the state of the art and the behavioural tests with micro-robot-fish, conclusions are made in order to create a future final design. [-]
