Valuation and analysis of Repsol S.A.

Abstract

Business valuation is a study that aims to determine the current economic value of the elements that make up the assets of an entity. On the other hand, the intrinsic value of a company tries to show the wealth that a company can generate, considering the risk that this wealth creation entails for the company. This final thesis is aimed at obtaining the intrinsic value of Repsol S. A., a Spanish multinational energy and petrochemical company with a high market share in the oil sector. In addition to calculating the intrinsic value of this entity, this work also focuses on providing information about the individual situation of Repsol and its possible variations in the future, based on a SWOT analysis and the analysis of its accounting information.
