Análisis estadístico sobre víctimas de violencia sexual

Abstract

El número de víctimas de violencia sexual cada vez es mayor. Y es que existe una gran diversidad de tipologías delictivas referentes a la violencia sexual, como son las agresiones, el acoso, o la prostitución entre otros. Todas estas tipologías vienen reguladas en el Código Penal y su finalidad es proteger a las víctimas y garantizarles el derecho a la libertad sexual. Además de la regulación en el Código Penal de dichos delitos, el legislador también ha querido otorgarle a la víctima cierta protección y por ese mismo motivo se ha creado legislación que atañe a la víctima, abarcando así diferentes ámbitos que le pueden resultar de interés. La persona damnificada en este tipo de delitos por lo general cumple un mismo perfil, y es el de mujer de entre 16 y 30 años con vida ociosa. A pesar de que el perfil por lo general sea similar, las consecuencias que se pueden generar a partir de los hechos son muy diversas. La cantidad de víctimas existentes en violencia sexual se puede clasificar según el delito, pero también se puede diferenciar según la edad del autor o el sexo. De esta manera se puede observar como el perfil de víctima coincide con los datos que se reflejan en las gráficas.

In addition to the regulation of these crimes in the Criminal Code, the legislator has also wanted to provide the victim with certain protection and for this same reason has created legislation that concerns the victim, thus covering different areas that may be of interest to him/her. The victim of this type of crime generally has the same profile, which is that of a woman between 16 and 30 years of age with an idle life. Despite the fact that the profile is generally similar, the consequences that can be generated from the facts are very diverse. The number of victims of sexual violence can be classified according to the crime, but can also be differentiated according to the age of the perpetrator or gender. Thus, it can be seen that the victim profile coincides with the data shown in the graphs.
