(Re)trobar les arrels. El despoblament i la joventut. Producció d’un curtmetratge documental

Abstract

El present Treball Final de Grau consisteix en la realització de (Re)trobar les arrels, un curtmetratge documental de divulgació que tracta la relació de la joventut amb el despoblament en el municipi de Vilafranca, Castelló. El despoblament és un tema que, avui dia, està molt a sovint en l’agenda mediàtica de l’estat espanyol, i al llarg dels anys s’ha plasmat de diferents maneres en la gran pantalla. No obstant això, hi ha una mancança de veu jove en molts dels documentals que parlen sobre el tema, és per això que la visió jove i personal dels entrevistats li aporta un to de proximitat que el diferencia de la resta. El principal objectiu d’aquest documental és donar-li veu al problema del despoblament des d’una visió jove, menys experta i institucional. A més, al llarg d’aquest treball es farà tot un treball d’investigació per analitzar com s’ha portat aquest tema al llarg de la història.

The present Final Degree Project consists in the creation of (Re)discovering the roots, a documentary short film for dissemination that addresses the relationship between youth and depopulation in the town of Vilafranca, Castelló. Depopulation is a topic that is frequently discussed in the Spanish media nowadays, and over the years, it has been portrayed in various ways on the big screen. However, there is a lack of young voices in many documentaries that discuss this issue, which is why the young and personal perspective of the interviewees brings a sense of closeness that sets it apart from the rest. The main objective of this documentary is to give voice to the issue of depopulation from a young, less expert and institutionalized perspective. Additionally, throughout this work, a research project will be carried out to analyze how this topic has been addressed throughout history.
