Tratamiento de los niveles lingüísticos en los manuales de español como lengua extranjera para niños y niñas

Abstract

La investigación que aquí se propone supone un análisis de los manuales de español para extranjeros de nivel inicial destinados a niños. El objeto del análisis será el tratamiento de los niveles lingüísticos (el fonético-fonológico, el morfosintáctico, el léxico-semántico y el pragmático) y se comparará la atención dedicada a cada nivel en un mismo manual y también entre todos los manuales estudiados. El propósito de este análisis será observar si los manuales le otorgan la misma importancia a los distintos niveles de lengua, si la comunicación tiene un papel tan relevante como el resto de niveles y el tipo de actividades que se presentan en cada uno de estos. Por tanto, para el presente artículo se ha diseñado una metodología basada en una ficha de análisis centrada en los cuatro niveles lingüísticos. Son cinco los manuales que se han estudiado: Uno, dos, tres... ¡Ya!, de la editorial en Clave ELE; Superdrago, de SGEL; Colega, de Edelsa; Clan7 con ¡Hola, amigos!, de Edinumen; y Lola y Leo, publicado por la editorial Difusión. Las conclusiones obtenidas giran en torno a la presentación de los contenidos de cada nivel (si es explícita o implícita), la presencia de la comunicación en cada manual (para lo que se analizarán los actos de habla que se plantean para la instrucción) y la relevancia de los distintos niveles de lengua en los métodos de enseñanza.

The research proposed here involves an analysis of Spanish for foreigners textbooks for children at the beginners level. The object of the analysis will be the treatment of the linguistic levels (phonetic-phonological, morphosyntactic, lexical-semantic and pragmatic) and the attention devoted to each level in the same textbook and also among all the textbooks studied will be compared. The purpose of this study will be to observe if the textbooks dedicate the same importance to the different language levels, if the pragmatic level is as relevant as the rest ofthe levels, and the type of activities presented in each of them. Therefore, for this article we have designed a methodology based on an analysis sheet focused on the four linguistic levels. Five textbooks have been studied: Uno, dos, tres... ¡Ya!,published by enClave ELE; Superdrago, by SGEL; Colega, by Edelsa; Clan7 con ¡Hola, amigos! by Edinumen; and Lola y Leo, published by Difusión. The conclusions obtained revolve around the presentation of the contents of each level (if it is explicit or implicit), the presence of communication in each manual (for which the speech acts proposed for instruction will be analyzed) and the relevance of the different language levels in the teaching methods.
