Regulación emocional de la gratitud mediante la literatura infantil y juvenil (LIJ)

Abstract

La creciente necesidad de educación y regulación emocional en la sociedad actual, realza la importancia de implementar programas socioemocionales a nivel curricular en las aulas, que permitan trabajar cualquier emoción con los alumnos y alumnas. En este trabajo, se pone en práctica la metodología del Grupo GREI (Grupo interuniversitario de investigación del Rechazo Entre Iguales) basada en la Literatura Infantil-Juvenil (LIJ) para la creación de un Programa Socioemocional (SOE) centrado en la emoción de la gratitud. Este programa consta de trece sesiones dirigidas a niños y niñas de tercero y cuarto de primaria con el fin de que sea el/la docente quien las imparta. Los libros elegidos para ello son Goliat y la Gratitud, de Violeta Monreal y El árbol de la escuela, de Emilio Urberuaga y Antonio Sandoval. Con ello, el objetivo principal es que, mediante la combinación del contenido de los libros y la dinámica de cada sesión del programa, se logre educar en el pensamiento agradecido a los niños y niñas, permitiéndoles identificar, expresar y comprender esta emoción, generando así una capacidad de regulación de la misma en cualquier contexto.

The growing need for education and emotional regulation in today's society highlights the importance of implementing socioemotional programs at the curricular level in the classroom, which allow working on any emotion with students. In this work, we put into practice the methodology of the GREI Group (Interuniversity Research Group on Peer Rejection) based on Children's and Young Adult Literature (PYL) for the creation of a Socioemotional Program (SOE) focused on the emotion of gratitude. This program consists of thirteen sessions aimed at children in the third and fourth grades of primary school, to be taught by the teacher. The books chosen for this purpose are Goliat y la gratitud by Violeta Monreal and El árbol de la escuela, by Emilio Urberuaga and Antonio Sandoval. With this, the main objective is that, through the combination of the content of the books and the dynamics of each session of the program, it is possible to educate children in grateful thinking, allowing them to identify, express and understand this emotion, thus generating a capacity to regulate it in any context.
