Obras más representativas de la pintura bélica en la Europa de los siglos XIX y XX

Abstract

El presente trabajo trata de la identificación, recopilación y análisis de las principales obras pictóricas, que representen un conflicto bélico o sean influenciadas directamente por uno, tanto en Europa y España. La cronología de este estudio se centrará en los siglos XIX y XX, el motivo es el cambio que se produce en la concepción del arte bélico a inicios del siglo XIX. Para conocer el punto de partida sobre el que situarse, se debe repasar los precedentes, en este caso se realizará un estudio generalizado del arte de guerra hasta el siglo XIX, y los motivos por los que se produce un cambio de mentalidad. Una vez introducido el arte anterior al siglo XIX, se repasarán las principales obras pictóricas, hasta el final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en el caso de Europa y la posguerra en el caso de España.

This work deals with the identification, compilation and analysis of the main pictorial works, which represent a war conflict or are directly influenced by one, both in Europe and Spain. The chronology of this study will focus on the 19th and 20th centuries, the reason being the change that took place in the conception of war art at the beginning of the 19th century. In order to know the starting point from which to situate oneself, it is necessary to review the precedents, in this case a generalised study of the art of war up to the 19th century, and the reasons why a change of mentality took place. Once the art prior to the 19th century has been introduced, the main pictorial works will be reviewed, up to the end of the Second World War in the case of Europe and the post-war period in the case of Spain.
