Investigación-acción feminista: desafiando dicotomías entre activismo y academia

Abstract

A partir de la intersección entre los métodos de investigación-acción y las epistemologías y metodologías feministas, la presente investigación tiene como principal objetivo profundizar en la articulación entre el activismo social y la investigación académica en el estudio de los movimientos sociales llevada a cabo a través de investigaciones participantes feministas. Para ello se han realizado seis entrevistas en profundidad a investigadoras que han desarrollado este tipo de experiencias en los últimos diez años en el contexto español. Los resultados obtenidos ponen de manifiesto la dificultad existente en conjugar un doble perfil académico y activista. No obstante, este espacio fronterizo se presenta como una oportunidad de encuentro entre ambos entornos desde donde reivindicar una forma de hacer ciencia con objetivos políticos y situados. De este modo, se pone en valor la potencialidad de las experiencias de investigación-acción feminista para construir conocimiento y contribuir, al mismo tiempo, a la transformación social.

Starting from the intersection between action-research methods and feminist epistemologies and methodologies, the main objective of this research is to deepen the articulation between social activism and academic research in the study of social movements carried out through feminist participatory research. To this end, six in-depth interviews were carried out with researchers who have developed this type of experience in the last ten years in the Spanish context. The results obtained highlight the difficulty of combining a dual academic and activist profile. However, this border space is presented as an opportunity for a meeting point between both environments from which to claim a way of doing science with political and situational objectives. In this way, the potential of feminist research-action experiences to build knowledge and, at the same time, contribute to social transformation is highlighted.
