Reivindicar la diversidad afectiva-sexual, corporal y de género desde la educación artística

Abstract

En el presente artículo establecemos estrategias y alianzas artísticas, sociales y educativas por la consecución de mayores cotas de igualdad, participación y justicia social de la diversidad afectiva-sexual, corporal y de género. Como metodología desarrollamos entrevistas semiestructuradas, por un lado, a docentes e investigadores/as en el área de las Bellas Artes y de la educación artística, y por el otro, a profesionales de la intervención social que trabajan con el colectivo LGTBIQ+, en el estado español. La investigación gira en torno a la inclusión de la diversidad afectivo-sexual y de género desde la educación artística, focalizando la desventaja, opresión y discriminación histórica que determinados grupos sociales han sufrido. Desarrollamos posibles prácticas artísticas como vehículo para alcanzar fines de carácter social como la consecución de igualdad real, posibilidades de representación o participación social y oportunidades de acceso al mundo laboral, desde una perspectiva interseccional. Como estrategia principal encontramos el desarrollo, desde los espacios artísticos y educativos, de acciones que visibilicen, conciencien y formen a la sociedad acerca de los riesgos y las vulnerabilidades que atraviesa a las personas LGTBIQ+.

In this article we establish artistic, social and educational strategies and alliances for achieving greater levels of equality, participation and social justice of affective-sexual, body and gender diversity. As a methodology, we develop semi-structured interviews, on the one hand, with teachers and researchers in the area of Fine Arts and artistic education, and on the other, with professionals of social intervention who work with the LGTBIQ collective in the Spanish state. The research focuses on the inclusion of affective-sexual and gender diversity from artistic education, focusing on the disadvantage, oppression and historical discrimination that certain social groups have suffered. We develop possible artistic prac-tices as a vehicle to achieve social purposes such as achieving real equality, possibilities of represen-tation or social participation and opportunities for access to the world of work, from an intersectional perspective. As a main strategy we find the development, from artistic and educational spaces, of actions that make visible, raise awareness and train society about the risks and vulnerabilities that LGTBIQ + people face.
