Medición de la circularidad en organizaciones: revisión de herramientas y caso de aplicación

Abstract

En el marco europeo establecido por el Pacto Verde y el nuevo Plan de Acción de Economía Circular, se pretende conseguir la neutralidad climática, el uso eficiente de recursos y la competitividad industrial. Las empresas u organizaciones han de sumarse a esa transición hacia la economía circular. Para ello, el punto de partida es realizar una diagnosis del estado actual, a partir del cual poder definir objetivos y metas a corto, medio y largo plazo. Actualmente, se han desarrollado herramientas encaminadas a medir la circularidad de las organizaciones. En este contexto, el objetivo de este estudio es realizar una revisión sistemática de las herramientas desarrolladas en España, con el fin de identificar aspectos generales (desarrollador, precio, etc.), flujos de entradas y salida que permiten considerar, indicadores de circularidad que calculan y la forma de obtener los resultados (cualitativos/cuantitativos, comparativas, informes, etc.), entre otros. Finalmente, se aplicarán a un caso de estudio con el fin de comparar los resultados obtenidos con cada una de ellas.

The European framework established by the Green Deal and the new Action Plan for the Circular Economy aims to achieve climate neutrality, efficient use of resources and industrial competitiveness. Companies or organisations should participate in this transition to the circular economy. To do this, the starting point is to make a diagnosis of the current situation, from which to set goals and targets for the short, medium and long term. Currently, tools have been developed to measure the circularity of organizations. In this context, the aim of this study is to carry out a systematic review of tools developed in Spain, in order to identify general aspects (developer, price, etc.), flows of inputs and outputs which can be considered, circularity indicators considered and the type of results obtained (qualitative/quantitative, comparative, reports, etc.), among others. Finally, they will be applied to a case study in order to compare the results obtained with each of them.
