Propuesta de mejora basada en la metodología CLIL

Abstract

Este trabajo de final de grado tiene como objetivo fundamental crear una adaptación, basada en la metodología CLIL, analizando la actividad de una docente de educación infantil que usa la inmersión lingüística dentro del aula. Se analizará la actividad de la docente en el aula durante las sesiones de inglés, se registrará la actitud del alumnado en las sesiones de inglés mediante una tabla de observación y se encontrarán propuestas de mejora utilizando las que sí funcionen y lleva a cabo la docente. Dentro de la Comunidad Valenciana se propone una educación plurilingüe, donde conviven tres lenguas en las aulas educativas: castellano, valenciano e inglés. Con el análisis de esta situación se pretende dar luz al cambio que necesita este sistema educativo en cuanto a cambiar el método de impartir segundas lenguas en las aulas. Por ello, utilizar la metodología CLIL sería una buena opción para aumentar el tiempo de exposición de la lengua extranjera utilizándola en proyectos transversales. Las siguientes páginas se dividirán en tres partes. En primer lugar, la justificación y la introducción teórica para contextualizar la metodología y ver los resultados que ha dado. En segundo lugar, una explicación de la metodología que se va a seguir para la elaboración de los instrumentos de observación. Y, en tercer lugar, los resultados de dicha observación donde se reflejará todo lo observado en la puesta en práctica de la docente, se comentará los puntos a mejorar y se desarrollará la propuesta basada en la metodología CLIL. Siguiendo a los resultados, se redactarán las conclusiones del final del trabajo donde se expresan los elementos que no han funcionado y se dará una solución a ellos.

The main objective of this final degree project is to create an adaptation, based on CLIL methodology, analysing the activity of an early childhood education teacher who uses linguistic immersion in the classroom. The activity of the teacher in the classroom during the English sessions will be analysed, the attitude of the students in the English sessions will be recorded by means of an observation chart and proposals for improvement will be found using the ones that work and are carried out by the teacher. Within the Valencian Community, a multilingual education is proposed, where three languages coexist in the classroom: Spanish, Valencian and English. By analysing this situation, the aim is to shed light on the change that this education system needs in terms of changing the method of teaching second languages in the classroom. Therefore, using the CLIL methodology would be a good option to increase the exposure time of the foreign language by using it in transversal projects. The following pages will be divided into three parts. Firstly, the justification and theoretical introduction to contextualise the methodology and to see the results it has produced. Secondly, an explanation of the methodology to be followed for the elaboration of the observation instruments. And, thirdly, the results of this observation where everything observed in the implementation of the teacher will be reflected, the points to be improved will be commented and the proposal based on the CLIL methodology will be developed. Following the results, conclusions will be drawn at the end of the work where the elements that have not worked will be expressed, and a solution will be given to them.
