Abstract

87 barrios is a local digital media that focuses on the neighborhoods and towns that make up València. A space where current information is offered about what happens in the streets of the city and gives voice to the different agents that make up the social tissue that acts every day to improve the lives of the inhabitants of the 19 districts of the capital of the Turia, allowing access to a type of journalism born of the need to provide information close and away from the dynamics of mass media. Valencia is the third most populated metropolitan area in the country, behind Barcelona and Madrid. However, nowadays there is no cyber media that is exclusively dedicated to make visible the different networks and social groups that mobilize for the collective welfare and that have proven to be essential during this pandemic. People who deserve more than ever a loudspeaker for their work to be recognized.
