Business plan based on a new business idea: Gadget PC

Abstract

The objective of this business plan is the creation of a technological device that can substitute a laptop. The idea behind this product is the connection of a smartphone into a dock with a screen and keyboard that resembles an actual laptop as shown in figures 1 and 2. By doing so the product maximizes the use of resources and takes profit of the computation capacities of the phone extending them into a workstation. It would be very similar to a laptop but with lower production costs, since its content will be different. Indeed, our aim is the creation of an affordable device for any consumer. In fact, the cost of this product is lower than the cost of producing an actual laptop. This product is not in the current market, so a corresponding research will be carried out to study its viability and thus be able to reduce the risks. The idea will start with the creation of a company with 3 associates where they will share knowledge and risks that are responsible for deriving and segmenting the roles involved in the management and production of a company. In sum, this company will create a product that will try to solve the needs of many consumers who make a great effort to buy a laptop. So, we talk about creating a product to replace the laptop for this particular type of customer.
