La violencia machista en menores de edad

Abstract

Este trabajo tiene como objetivo abarcar un tema sensible y cada vez más visible en nuestra sociedad de hoy en día. Cierto es, que siempre se ha pensado que la violencia de género únicamente se daba en las relaciones adultas y en el ámbito matrimonial. Con esta afirmación se asumía que las relaciones de pareja adolescentes estaban exentas de violencia de género. Pero la realidad nos muestra un hecho totalmente diferente, las estadísticas y los recientes estudios sobre la materia nos muestran datos alarmantes referidos a la violencia que sufren las mujeres menores. Por ello, es interesante estudiar cuáles son los rasgos que caracterizan esta violencia y el motivo por el cual este fenómeno criminal está creciendo a un ritmo vertiginoso. En este sentido, analizaremos los datos que nos proporciona el Instituto de la Mujer, tales como las estadísticas y las macroencuestas, todas ellas agrupadas según la edad de la víctima y del agresor. Según esta encuesta, una de cada 10 mujeres relata que ha sido víctima de algún tipo violencia de género; aproximadamente se han detectado unas 170 mil denuncias por año en España. Siguiendo el hilo de nuestra investigación, tomaremos como referencia los adolescentes de entre 14 y 19 años, teniendo en cuenta cómo se canaliza en ellos las diferentes intervenciones educativas, sociales y culturales en el desarrollo de su personalidad, tanto del agresor como de la víctima, todo ello con el claro objetivo de conocer a su vez, los estereotipados de género que asumen los adolescentes, o aprenden a lo largo de su desarrollo. De este modo, y desde una perspectiva realista podremos trazar propuestas orientadas concretamente a la prevención de la violencia de género en menores de edad.

This work aims to cover a sensitive and increasingly visible topic in our society today. It is true that it has always been thought that gender violence only occurred in adult relationships and in the marital sphere. With this statement, it was assumed that adolescent couple relationships were free of gender violence. But reality shows us a totally different fact, statistics and recent studies on the matter show alarm data referring to the violence suffered by underage women. Therefore, it is interesting to study the features that characterize this violence and the reason why this criminal phenomenon is growing at a dizzying rate. In this sense, we will analyze the data provided by the Women's Institute, such as statistics and macro-surveys, all of them grouped according to the age of the victim and the aggressor. According to this survey, one in 10 women reports that they have been a victim of some type of gender violence; approximately 170 thousand complaints have been detected per year in Spain. Following the thread of our research, we will take as a reference adolescents between 14 and 19 years old, taking into account how the different educational, social and cultural interventions are channeled into them in the development of their personality, both of the aggressor and the victim. all this with the clear objective of knowing in turn, the gender stereotypes that adolescents assume, or learn throughout their development. In this way, and from a realistic perspective, we will be able to draw up proposals specifically aimed at the prevention of gender violence in minors.
