Respuestas policiales ante la violencia de género

Abstract

La violencia de género supone una grave violación a la dignidad , la integridad, la seguridad y los derechos que corresponde a la mujer como ser humano. El papel que ejercen las FFCCSS con respecto a este tema resulta de gran importancia, puesto que tienen que cumplir con lo que les ordena la ley en materia de Violencia de Género, al igual que lo encomendado por La Constitución Española y, del mismo modo, su propia Ley. El incremento de este tipo de violencia conforme han pasado los años, ha supuesto la creación de varias unidades especializadas en este tipo de problema social, y por lo tanto, se han implantado distintos tipos de funciones y actuaciones en base a este respecto, lo que ha supuesto a su vez el establecimiento de diferentes tipos de medidas de seguimiento y control de las víctimas que padecen este tipo de violencia, asociándose a su vez a la creación de planes de protección personalizados a la situación de la víctima, los cuales están enfocados a asegurar la seguridad y la libertad de las mujeres víctimas de violencia de género. Para poder lograr lo anterior, será necesaria la intervención de los diferentes agentes que conforman los distintos cuerpos policiales existentes en nuestro país y , por lo tanto, serán los encargados de establecer protocolos de respuesta cuando se tenga constancia de que una situación de esta índole se está llevando a cabo.

Gender-based violence is a serious violation of the dignity, integrity, safety and rights of women as human beings. The role played by the Security Forces and Corps with regard to this issue is of great importance, as they have to comply with what the law on Gender Violence orders them to do, as well as what is entrusted to them by the Spanish Constitution and, likewise, their own Law. The increase of this type of violence over the years has led to the creation of several units specialised in this type of social problem and therefore, different types of functions and actions have been implemented in this respect, which in turn has led to the establishment of different types of monitoring and control measures for the victims who suffer this type of violence, associated in turn with the creation of personalised protection plans for the situation of the victim, which are focused on ensuring the safety and freedom of women victims of gender violence. In order to achieve the above, the intervention of the different agents that make up the various police forces in our country will be necessary, and they will therefore be responsible for establishing response protocols when it is known that a situation of this kind is taking place
