dc.description | Treball Final de Màster Universitari en Rehabilitació Psicosocial en Salut Mental Comunitària. Codi: SAX013.
| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Over time, the way in which societies have understood and consequently treated people who suffer from Mental Health problems has been influenced by a series of myths, stereotypes and erroneous beliefs, which generate forms of discrimination, contempt and social rejection . This series of negative attitudes and opinions is not only part of the general population, but also of health professionals. The lack of knowledge and tools in health professionals for the management of these patients has led to the creation of complicated situations in moments of crisis during admission to hospital units, increasing stigma and negative attitudes towards these people. One of the strategies aimed at reducing stigma among health professionals is through training plans in relevant aspects of mental health. In this way, knowledge and skills will be increased, and therefore ignorance and fear of managing people who suffer from mental health problems during hospital admissions will decrease. | ca_CA |
