Economic-financial analysis of la Liga Santander teams

Abstract

The football sector is important in generating wealth in the country, since it also favours other types of activities. This paper pretends to realize an analysis of the economic and financial situation of the teams that make up the Spanish first division. During the analysis we will see the legal form of the LaLiga teams, how there are considerable differences in income and costs due to various factors and how the different masses of assets of each of them are distributed. Furthermore, through an analysis of the economic and financial situation by means of ratios, it will be possible to see that most teams are in a similar situation.
