dc.description.abstractTherefore the project’s objective is to carry out a numerical model able to reproduce an experimental test for different types of floor, while simultaneously evaluating the performance of the different proposed designs. During the project’s development, the concepts of soil mechanics will be explained and both the properties, laws and the existing experimental tests used to describe the soft soil’s behaviour, will be detailed. Due to confidentiality issues, the description of the experimental test and its corresponding numerical simulation will not be detailed. Finally, the experimental and numerical results for each floor and design studies will be compared and analyzed.ca_CA
