La continuitat de la cultura ibèrica en la Plana Baixa a través de l’estudi de tres jaciments

Abstract

La cultura ibèrica es va desenvolupar al nostre territori fa 2600 anys aproximadament i tot i que són nombrosos els estudis i les investigacions, ens és pràcticament desconeguda. En el present treball faré una aproximació a aquesta cultura i a la seva continuitat en època romana basant-me en tres jaciments que, tot i no ser els més importants de la província, tenen unes característiques ben particulars, a més de ser pràcticament desconeguts. Per tant analitzaré les restes així com els materials trobats en les poques excavacions que s’hi han portat a terme per tal de donar a conèixer aquests jaciments i oferir un panorama més ampli sobre la cultura ibèrica i la seva supervivència en les terres castellonenques.

The Iberian culture was developed in our territory approximately 2600 years ago and although there are numerous studies and research, it is practically unknown to us. In this work I will approach this culture and its continuity in Roman times based on three sites that, despite not being the most important in the province, have some very particular characteristics. In addition they are virtually unknown. Therefore I will analyze the remains as well as the materials found in the few excavations that have been carried out in order to present these archeological sites and offer a broader picture of the Iberian culture and its survival in the lands of Castellón.
