imaginario colectivo. [-]

This project is fundamentally focused on the control exercised by the Francoist Regime
over the media in the early years of the dictatorship, specifically from 1938, when the Press
Law was passed, until 1966, when Manuel Fraga's Press Law was implemented. At the time,
the most influential media were Print, film news, radio and television. The history of these
media will be related to the nature of the dictatorship, to its ideological evolution, and to the
role and the influence the Caudillo had in them. These media will be part of the everyday life
of millions of Spanish people to the extent of becoming, at the present time, part of the
collective consciousness in today's Spain. [-]
