Coeducación en la escuela mixta

Abstract

“En España tenemos una escuela mixta, no coeducativa, que educa para la igualdad pero no reconoce bien la diferencia”. Daniel Sánchez Caballero, El diario de la educación (2019). Creemos que nuestros hijos e hijas asisten a un centro educativo donde se proporcionan las mismas oportunidades en función del género y no es así. Creemos que vivimos en una sociedad igualitaria y no es así. De hecho, pensamos que existe un respeto por el sexo contrario y cuando hablamos de sexo queremos decir género, porque creemos que sabemos la diferencia y no es así. La coeducación es transversal, no se desarrolla en la escuela trabajándola día tras día como se puede enseñar a escribir correctamente tu nombre. La coeducación forma parte de tus pensamientos y dependerá, sobretodo, de cómo te enseñen a verla. Es el arma más peligrosa de la sociedad porque con ella puedes ser libre y a la vez estar condenado. Vamos a crear una sociedad libre, con identidad de género. Vamos a proporcionar la capacidad de tomar decisiones en función de lo que gusta o te hace sentir cómodo o cómoda y no en función de lo que puedan pensar de ti al no ser quien la sociedad quiere que seas, porque no es lo tradicional o lo “que tienes que hacer tú, mujer u hombre”. Tú, docente como yo, tienes en tus manos la posibilidad de formar personas. Hazlas libres.

We believe that our sons and daughters attend an educational centre where they have the same opportunities based on gender; however, this is not the case. We also believe that we live in an egalitarian society, but it is not true. In fact, we think that people respect the opposite sex, but when we talk about sex we mean gender because we do not even know the difference between these two concepts. Coeducation is transversal; it does not take place at school, working on it day after day, the same way you can teach how to write your name correctly. Coeducation is part of your thoughts and will depend, above all, on how you are taught to see it. It is the most dangerous weapon in society because with it you can be free and at the same time be condemned. We should create a free society with gender identity. We will provide the ability to make decisions based on what you like or makes you feel comfortable and not decisions based on what they think of you not being who society wants you to be because you are not traditional or you do not do "what you have to do, woman or man". You are a teacher like me and we have in our hands the possibility of teaching people. Make them free.
