Saberes y subjetividad acerca de la maternidad en la adolescencia: propuesta de una aproximación desde el modelo de teorías implícitas

Abstract

Para las personas resulta indispensable comprender y explicar la realidad que les rodea, ya que este conocimiento constituye una herramienta importante para prever lo que sucederá y así encontrar formas de afrontar las situaciones propias de la vida y sus problemas inherentes. Para avanzar en la comprensión de la maternidad adolescente, resulta indispensable vislumbrar las creencias que tienen los individuos frente a este tema, ya que son ellas las que prescriben los comportamientos de los jóvenes, de los padres en la educación de sus hijos, de las instituciones educativas y de la comunidad en general. El interés por conocer mejor la naturaleza de este fenómeno implica reconocer a las personas como pensadoras sociales, buscando significar su mundo y para ello, construyendo y organizando lo que saben y conocen de él. El presente trabajo describe cómo la gente de la calle construye el conocimiento desde la perspectiva individualista del Construccionismo de J. Piaget y el enfoque sociológico de las representaciones sociales, proponiendo la perspectiva de las Teorías Implícitas como modelo integrador que supere las limitaciones de ambos enfoques a la hora de explicar las diferentes creencias sobre la maternidad juvenil. Igualmente enumerará las principales teorías científicas sobre la maternidad temprana categorizadas a través de tres concepciones: psicobiológica, cultural y socio - sanitaria, con el propósito de conocer las diferentes perspectivas teóricas sobre este tema, dado que ellas se ocupan de un cúmulo importante de ideas que forman parte del conjunto de “a prioris” que las personas utilizan para construir sus propias teorías.

For people, it is essential to understand and explain the reality that surrounds them, since this knowledge is an important tool to predict what will happen and thus to find ways to confront the situations of life and its inherent problems. To advance understanding of the teenage pregnancy, it is essential glimpse the beliefs that the individuals have according to this issue; now that, they are who prescribe the behaviors of young people, parents in the education of their children, institutions of education and community in general. The interest to know better the nature of this phenomenon implies recognizing people as social thinkers, looking for how to mean its world and therefore building and organizing what they know and they know about it. The present work describes how the people of the street construct the knowledge from the individualistic perspective of the Constructionism of J. Piaget and the sociological approach of the social representations, proposing the perspective of the Implicit Theories as integrative model overcomes the limitations of both approaches, explaining the different beliefs about teen pregnancy. Likewise, it will enumerate the main scientific theories about the teen pregnancy categorized through three conceptions: psicobiological, cultural and socio - sanitary, in order to meet the different theoretical perspectives on this topic, since they deal with an important heap of ideas that are part of the set of “a prioris” that people use to construct its own theories.
