INTERVENTION PROJECT: RESTORE LOVE BOND IN FAMILIES WITH MINORS AT PSYCHOSOCIAL RISK WITH FAMILY PRESERVATION MEASURES

Abstract

This work is based on the realization of an intervention project aimed at families who use day centers for minors at psychosocial risk under family preservation measures. After reviewing the literature, we see that one of the main factors that influences a good quality of life for minors is receiving affection from their parents and / or caregivers (Manfred Max-Neef, 1996). Most of the interventions are focused on the training of parents (Hidalgo, Menéndez, Sánchez, Lorence and Jiménez, 2009), leaving aside the importance of minors in the family context, therefore, in this, they will also participate. To plan the project The Logical Framework Approach (Camacho, Cámara, Cascante and Sainz, 2001) has been used, the main objective of the intervention is to restore love bond in the family and the specific objectives are: to increase family cohesion, improve parental-filial bond and promote democratic educational practices in parents, to achieve these objectives weekly activities will be held for three months, each session will be 2 and a half hours long and the activities that will be carried out will be family play, psychoeducation , role playing and support groups, from a participatory approach. For this it will be necessary to have several professionals (psychologists and educators), a place where to carry out the intervention and infrastructure and material for the different types of activities. After these three months, the families will be monitored for 6 months to verify that the objectives of the intervention are met and maintained. Finally, for the evaluation of the intervention, surveys and interviews will be carried out. To carry out both the intervention and the follow-up, collaboration and coordination with the day minors’ centre and Social Services will be important.

Este trabajo se basa en la realización de un proyecto de intervención dirigido a las familias usuarias de los centros de día para menores en riesgo psicosocial bajo medidas de preservación familiar. Tras la revisión bibliográfica, vemos que, uno de los principales factores que influye en una buena calidad de vida de los menores es recibir afecto por parte de sus progenitores y/o cuidadores (Manfred Max-Neef, 1996). La mayoría de las intervenciones se centran en la formación de los progenitores (Hidalgo, Menéndez, Sánchez, Lorence y Jiménez, 2009), dejando de lado la importancia de los menores en el contexto familiar, por ello, en esta, también participarán ellos. Para planificar el proyecto se ha utilizado el Enfoque del Marco Lógico (Camacho, Cámara, Cascante y Sainz, 2001), el objetivo principal de la intervención es restaurar el amor en la familia y los objetivos específicos son: aumentar la cohesión familiar, mejorar el vínculo paterno-filial y potenciar las prácticas educativas democráticas en los progenitores, para alcanzar estos objetivos se realizarán actividades semanales durante tres meses, cada sesión será de 2 horas y media de duración y las actividades que se realizarán serán el juego en familia, la psicoeducación, el role playing y grupos de apoyo, desde un enfoque participativo. Para ello será necesario contar con varios profesionales (psicólogos y educadores), un lugar en el que realizar la intervención e infraestructura y material para los diferentes tipos de actividades. Tras estos tres meses, se realizará un seguimiento de las familias durante 6 meses para comprobar que los objetivos de la intervención se cumplen y se mantienen. Finalmente, para la evaluación de la intervención se llevarán a cabo encuestas y entrevistas. Para poder llevar a cabo tanto la intervención como el seguimiento, será importante la colaboración y coordinación con el centro de menores y los Servicios Sociales.
