Violencia machista: factores de riesgo del agresor y consecuencias del COVID-19

Abstract

En la actualidad, la violencia machista es una de las violencias con un índice de mayor preocupación en la sociedad. Este tipo de violencia debe ser estudiado como una cuestión estructural de la sociedad patriarcal en la que vivimos, pues, que las parejas o exparejas de una mujer la maltrate por el simple hecho de serlo, por razón de género, por considerarse superior por el mero hecho de ser hombre, vaticina una sociedad llena de machismo encauzada hacia un grave daño para la estructuración social. Los valores básicos del respecto y la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres siguen estando en peligro, esta igualdad sigue teniendo grietas, que afortunadamente se van restableciendo convirtiendo que la sociedad se encuentre más concienciada con la violencia de género. Por todo ello, en el siguiente trabajo, que alude sobre la violencia machista, deseo disponer en evidencia cuales son las principales circunstancias de riesgo en base al agresor, ya que es el causante de esta lacra social; pues desgraciadamente las cifras de mujeres asesinadas por su agresor siguen siendo preocupantes y alarmantes. Por todo ello, reducir la cifra y llegar a suprimirla es el objetivo fundamental para los profesionales de este ámbito y gran parte de la ciudadanía. Poder conseguirlo depende de una prevención y sensibilización adecuada.

Now a days, male violence is one of the most worrying forms of violence in society. This type of violence should be studied as a structural issue of the patriarchal society in which we live, because the partners or ex-partners of a woman mistreat her for the simple fact of being one, for gender reasons, because they consider themselves to be superior for the mere fact of being a man, predicts a society full of machismo directed towards serious damage to the social structure. The basic values of respect and equality between men and women continue to be in danger, this equality still has cracks, which fortunately are being reestablished making society more aware of gender violence. For all these reasons, in the following work, which refers to male violence, I would like to state clearly what the main circumstances of risk are based on the aggressor, since he is the cause of this social scourge; since unfortunately the numbers of women murdered by their aggressor are still worrying and alarming. For all these reasons, reducing the number and eventually eliminating it is the fundamental objective for professionals in this field and for a large part of the public. To be able to achieve this depends on adequate prevention and awareness.
