“Mare, conta’m” Dossier preproducció d’un curt documental

Abstract

El present document és un dossier de preproducció per al curt documental Mare, conta'm. En aquest es conta la història d'una jove de vint-i-dos anys que després de tornar d'Erasmus no se situa al lloc on ha viscut sempre, el barri del Cabanyal-Canyamelar (València). Comença a investigar sobre els seus orígens i es troba que hi ha una cançó del barri que no coneixia però la seua mare sí. Aleshores inicia un viatge per tractar de trobar l'afecte perdut per les seues arrels i entendre els motius pels quals s'ha trencat la transmissió de la memòria cultural col·lectiva. En la recerca troba diverses raons que enclouen pèrdua de la identitat lingüística, processos de despersonalització i deshumanització del barri arran del Franquisme, tot això des d'una perspectiva de gènere, ja que està fet per dones i amb dones.

This document is a pre-production dossier of the short documentary Mare, conta’m (Tell me, mother). It tells the story of a twenty-two-year-old girl who,after returning from an Erasmus academic stay abroad, does not find herself returning to the same place she has always lived in, the Cabanyal-Canyamelar district (Valencia). She begins to investigate his origins of the area and finds that the neighborhood sings along a tune unknown to her, but not to her mother. She then embarks on a journey to try and retake the affection lost to her roots and to understand the reasons for the transmission of collective cultural memory to have broken. By researching she finds several reasons that include loss of linguistic identity, processes of depersonalization and dehumanization of the neighborhood as a result of the Franco regime doings, all from a gender perspective, as it is done by women and with women in mind.
