La Ilercavonia: argumentos desde el silencio

Abstract

En la zona que se ha identificado como territorio ilercavón, después de varias décadas de investigación se puede considerar que faltan una serie de elementos propios de la Cultura Ibérica que se localizan en otras regiones ibéricas. Partiendo de esta base se pretende dar respuesta al motivo de estos vacíos que muestra el registro arqueológico relacionándolos con el desarrollo de la sociedad y el significado de los elementos que representan el poder social y económico en la zona en estudio, así como con el patrón de asentamiento que durante todo el desarrollo de la Cultura Ibérica caracteriza el proceso histórico de esta etapa y que en cierta medida podría dar sentido a la identificación de lo que se ha venido relacionando con la Ilercavonia.

In the area that has been identified as ilercavon territory, after several decades of researcha series of elements of the Iberian Culture that are identified in other Iberian regions are missing. Starting from this base, we try to answer the motive of these gaps that the archaeological record shows. We relatethem to the development of the society and the meaning of the elements that represent the social and economic power in the area under study, as well as the settlement pattern that throughout the development of the Iberian Culture characterized the historical process of this stage and that, to some extent, could give meaning to the identification of what has been related to Ilercavonia
