Challenges and opportunities of islamic finance.

Abstract

In the present End-Of-Degree project a literature review of islamic finance challenges and opportunities in the current times is utilized to address the lack of information on the topic amongst the western society. First of all, an approach to islamic finance and its characteristics will be made by learning what differences it from conventional finance and the products that it offers, alongside with some information about how this financial system is regulated. Then, after obtaining and analyzing the data for the literature review, the challenges, threats and opportunities of islamic finance and its situation towards the future will be presented and discussed.
