Financial analysis of Amadeus IT Group.

Abstract

The present end-of-degree work puts the focus of attention on the company Amadeus IT Group. It aims to show the analysis of a leading company in the distribution and provision of technological solutions in the travel and tourism sector. In addition, it is a company that, since it was first listed on the stock exchange, has not stopped increasing its price.

The primary objective is therefore to study both the individual development of the company and its behaviour towards Sabre Holdings and Travelport Worldwide Ltd, its main market competitors. In order to achieve this, during the course of the work, an immersion is carried out in search of identifiable values that guarantee the understanding of the unstoppable functioning of Amadeus IT Group in the era of economic growth and the obtaining of relevant data on the state of the company, specifically through the last five periods of the annual accounts of Amadeus IT Group.

All this is then presented through a descriptive analysis of the balance sheet, income statement, profitability, financial structure, liquidity needs or research of competitors with an examination of market shares, turnover and their products.
