dc.description.abstractThe main aim of this work will be the synthesis and characterization of ceramic pigments based on the pyrochlore and perovskite structures using reagents that contain lanthanide ions provided from a residue. The specific aims are: - Analysis of the waste provided by a company. - Synthesis of a ceramic pigment reusing the elements of which the waste is composed. - Application of the pigment in a ceramic glaze. For the realization of this work a company dedicated to the manufacture of certain inorganic materials has provided us with a residue, formed mostly by metal oxides, produced in the synthesis of one of its products in order to find a way to reuse this excess material.ca_CA
