Economic and financial analysis: Assesing a new product in Grupo Maestrat, Carpas, Espectáculos y Eventos. S.L.

Abstract

The main objective of this project was to study the incorporation of a new line of tents in the company Grupo Maestrat, carpas, espectaculos y eventos, S.L.. Up to the present moment the company only the company only has marketed tents with opaque canvas, and what this project attempted to study was the impact that the implementation of transparent tent models had on the market to attract a larger number of customers, thus meeting the various tastes and preferences of all customers. In order to do so, an economic-financial analysis of the company Grupo Maestrat, carpas, espectaculos y eventos, S.L. was carried out and compared to other two analysis that came from companies that act as competitors, so that we could be in a more accurate position to observe and determine the market situation of the company be able to observe the market situation of the company. On the other hand, the net cash flows offered by the implementation of the transparent tent in the company have been studied, as well as the analysis of fixed and variable costs, income and break-even point.
