This paper explores the extent to which the number of migrations in the MENA region can be related to climatic variations caused by climate change. A model through which migration intensifies with increases in average temperature and average rainfall in the region has been estimated through the use of a panel data set consisting of 18 countries and 22 years of study between 1995 and 2016. Both results have been found on the basis of a series of modifications that have dictated the strength of the model. In addition, the theoretical bases and the corroboration of the works already exposed in this field have helped to complete and analyze the results in a way that highlights the dependence of the countries in the agriculture sector and the migrations occurred in the period.ca_CA
