The social rating agencies are in charge of qualifying the commitment that companies
develop with regard to their involvement in corporate social responsibility and,
therefore, indicate to investors whether they are making socially responsible
investments.
The evolution of rating companies over the years has been advancing until today,
which have already shown some impact on the investors in countries such as Spain. In
addition, there are products on the market such as socially responsible investment
funds that contribute to promoting this type of investment.
This report is based on rating agencies and the objective of the research is to analyse
the functioning of social rating agencies, the socially responsible investment funds and
how they have affected business society in Spain. [-]
