| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Dravet syndrome is a rare disease with a genetic origin that develops in people aged between 4 and 12 months, and the incidence of the condition is estimated at 1 in 20,000 births. The most recognisable symptom of this syndrome is epileptic seizures. Numerous scientists around the world are working to find a treatment that does not exist at the moment. In Valencia, the Centro de Investigación Príncipe Felipe is working to stop this disease. Its innovation compared to other laboratories is flies testing, specifically Drosophila . The report aims to delve into the investigation and to explore the investigation. For this, we count on the collaboration of the scientists in charge, in order to emphasize the scientific work within a context that does not favour it. How does Dravet affect? Under what conditions does the research take place? How could it progress? What is it like to live with a relative with this syndrome? These are some of the questions that will be solved through the report. | ca_CA |
