| ca_CA |
dc.description.abstract | Twitter has become an important media platform that has contributed to the birth of a new communicative actor: the political influencer. This has been gaining ground due to some shortcomings in the profiles of conventional media in social networks, such as lack of relationship with their audience or the scarce multimediality. The objective of this Bachelor’s Thesis is to study this new figure in a context characterized by constant remodeling in the journalistic environment. Based on a model of quantitative analysis, the management of interactivity, the most outstanding topics and the communicative style characteristic of this actor have been revised. The sample is integrated by 1866 tweets published by seven different profiles. The period of analysis has been fourteen days, being seven of them the week of the general election of April 28, 2019. The results show a constant and regular activity of the influencers, which deals with issues related to the electoral process and social policies, among other topics. In addition, success strategies are detected as the decoding of reality in a humorous tone or the use of GIFs and other videos that enhance the multimediality and the relationship with their followers. | ca_CA |
