The Municipal Market of Puerto de Sagunto is a feeding center born from the union of
small businesses in the city. It is dedicated to providing services and food products to
the historical center of the town, with more than 45 merchants stands
The objective of the project is to carry out a Marketing Plan that enhances the
characteristics of the sector and the establishment as well as provide ways to improve
sales techniques and customer loyalty.
As the first point, current situation of the market, the environment and its competitors will
be studied. As well as the characteristics of their regular customer. These parameters
research will help shape a competitive strategy based on differentiation.
In addition, strengths and weaknesses will be studied against competitors and their
impact on the project. It will indicate the proposals to take advantage of opportunities
and strengths and how to deal with the threats and weaknesses through communication
services and unification of traders. After analysing the potential of the Municipal Market,
new proposals will be incorporated in all areas to help revitalize sales. New market
segments all ages, dynamics and activities such as shopping experience, renovation
towards a center of leisure and commerce aimed at the citizens of the municipality.
As well as solutions and proposals in managing downtime and product categories which
benefit a more innovative and modern market.
In summary, this project aims to modernize and innovate the retail, offering consumers
and service differentiation in the local product. So that those visiting the Municipal Market
can find variety, leisure and innovation of the food and catering sector in the heart of the
