This document contains a marketing plan for the company Hijos de Agustín Bou S.L. for an
annual period from April 2019 to April 2020. The aim of this plan is to propose different actions
to achieve the proposed objectives based on an internal and external diagnosis of the company
itself.
After carrying out different studies and analyses of the packaging sector and its environment,
it can be seen that the wood packaging sector is growing and it is expected to continue
growing. This growth is due to a decrease in the plastic packaging sector and also as chance
due to the increase in the consumption of ecological products, which facilitates their
differentiation by providing higher quality.
Currently, Hijos de Agustín Bou S.L. is a medium sized family business with more than 20
years in the sector. It mainly manufactures containers for the citrus sector, complementing the
season with occasional products such as strawberries or fish, but even so it has a very irregular
demand throughout the year. For this reason, the following objectives are mainly set to be
achieved in one year:
• Create the Facebook social network and get 10,000 followers in the next year.
• Get 1000 visits to the website next year.
• Increase the list of clients by 10% next year.
• Expand the product portfolio with a new one next year.
• Increase the operating income with respect to the average of the last 5 years by 10%
for next year.
• Initiate customer surveys and achieve 95% satisfaction next year.
Thanks to the achievement of these objectives the company will improve different aspects,
such as the increase in turnover, a more regular demand and better communication and image.
To conclude, all the actions to achieve the objectives will be economically justified [-]
