dc.description.abstract | Objectives : Evaluate nutritional and anthropometric status of a group of female futsal players
(“Bisontes Castellón FS”) and compare them with the actual data.
Material and methods: we analyzed a sample of 21 futsal players. We took anthropometric
measures and gave them a 3-day dietary diary. We calculated the average, standard deviation
and the t-Student for data description and analysis.
Results: On the one hand results showed a low energy intake (p < 0.005), as well as carbohydrate
(p < 0.005) compared to the recomended nutritional standards. On the other hand, an excessive
intake of proteins was demonstrated (p < 0.005). The same situation took place with fats
(p < 0.005)
Focusing on vitamins and minerals, we observed an excessive intake of P, Se, Vit.B6,
Vit.B12, Vit.C and thiamin. Contrarily, there was a déficit os several micronutrients such as Vit.D,
Vit.K, Calcium, Copper, Zinc Yodo, Retinol and Folates.
Conclusions: Macronutrient intake do not correspond with the FAO/WHO recomendations. Our
group´s somathotype was similar to the one obtained in previous studies of Spanish female
football players. | ca_CA |
(p < 0.005), Vit.K (p < 0.05), Calcio (p < 0.05), Cobre (p < 0.05), Zinc (p < 0.005) y Yodo (p < 0.005)
la FAO/WHO.
| ca_CA |
