dc.description.abstract | This paper attempts to design a lesson plan that focuses on improving different language skills using a tool created for designing activities via internet, and with which students are able to interact directly, immediately receiving feedback from both the teacher and the program. The general aim of the lesson plan is to implement information and communication technologies in the process of the English language teaching using the task-based language teaching method, creating 2 sessions in which the tasks develop from an specific semantic field, in this case cooking and food and environment. For this purpose, the paper is divided in six different sections. Fist of all, an introduction to ICT’s, followed by a brief theoretical background, in order to contextualise language teaching from the old approaches to the new ones, as well as the role of new technologies in education. After that, the method will be described, including a broad description of the tool used (in this case the online resource “Nearpod”) and the context in which it will be used, taking into account the subjects to whom the lesson plan is addressed. After that, the objectives of the lesson plan will be stated. Finally, the teaching proposal specially designed with the use of the tool will be exposed, with a description of each task and a brief conclusion. | ca_CA |
