dc.description.abstractContent and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), has to do with some linguistic immersion in the educational field. The term CLIL was firstly coined in 1994 by David Marsh. This methodology is based on applying the language you want to learn in common subject lessons. The present paper aims to analyze Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in Spain, especially in the Valencian community where this innovative methodology has been progressively implemented. This study seeks to generate a hypothetical CLIL unit within a music class. This research emerges from the need to find an effective method that manages to mitigate the problems generated by the traditional English Language Teaching (ELT). First, the history of CLIL in Spain will be examined before moving on to its goals and benefits. Once the previous point is settled, I will conduct a study to determine if CLIL is a good proposal when learning a second language. This investigation will take place in a primary education center where a multilingual immersion program has been applied, located in the bilingual scenario of Castellón (The Valencian Community). The subjects of this study are 8-year-old students in their second year of primary education. Finally, I will introduce a teaching proposal following the CLIL methodological approach.ca_CA
