Criminología preventiva aplicada a la violencia de género.

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como principal objetivo ofrecer un enfoque preventivo a partir de la ciencia de la Criminología, al fenómeno de la Violencia de Género. En los últimos años, ante el constante auge de este tipo de discriminación hacía la mujer, y el aumento cada vez más considerable de casos de personas que se convierten en víctimas del mismo, existe una gran preocupación en la sociedad que ocasiona una situación de incertidumbre y miedo ante el mismo. Debido a esto, en el siguiente estudio se tratará de dar una respuesta que tenga como principal objetivo la prevención y erradicación de la violencia contra la mujer. Para ello, se ofrecerá una visión sobre la importancia de la ciencia victimológica, aportando diferentes teorías sobre la relevancia de establecer diferentes tipologías de víctimas y su relación o conexión con el agresor. A su vez, se otorgará una gran importancia a los factores de riesgo que pueden aumentar la probabilidad de que una persona sea víctima de dicho acto delictivo, y a los comportamientos o conductas que se deben llevar a cabo para prevenir esta situación. De igual modo, se intentará establecer una serie de factores y características comunes entre los diferentes agresores de parejas, para poder crear conciencia sobre un posible perfil que compartan la mayoría, y así poder ser identificados por la sociedad y, sobretodo, por la pareja sentimental. Finalmente, desde la perspectiva de la Política Criminal, se tratará de ofrecer una visión sobre la importancia de educar a las nuevas generaciones para evitar su transformación en potenciales agresores, y reeducar a los maltratadores para evitar una futura reincidencia.

The main purpose of this article is to offer a preventive approach from the Criminal Science to the phenomenon of Gender Violence. In the past years, due to the increase in this type of discrimination against women, and the rise of the cases of people who become victims of it, exists a lot of uncertainty and fear about it. Because of this fact, in the next article, a response is going to be given that shall focuse on the prevention and the attempt for eradicate the violence against women. To achieve this aim, some theories about victims and their aggressors will be analized and displayed, in order to show the importance of the Victimological Science. Afterwards, the study will treat the different risk factor’s that could increase the probability for a person to become a victim, and the actions that people can do not to increase this probability. Also, in accordance with the knowledge of the Criminal Science, we will try to establish some characteristics and features that most aggressors share, for raise awareness about them, in order to help people to identify them. In the end, from the perspective of the Criminal Policy, it will be tried to offer a vision about the importance of the process of educating the next generations in moral and ethical values, to prevent them for becoming an aggressor, and the importance of the process of re-educating the abusers to prevent their recidivism.
