Desenvolupament del pensament computacional a través del Bee-Bot, per a xiquets i xiquetes amb trastorn de l'espectre autista (TEA)

Abstract

Actualment, en l’àmbit escolar, existeix un debat sobre quina metodologia és la més idònia per aplicar a l’aula i al centre. És per això que, és molt important investigar i analitzar els resultats obtesos al implantar qualsevol metodologia, estudiant tant els aspectes negatius com els positius. L’objectiu d’aquest treball fi de grau (TFG) és valorar la utilització d’un mètode on els i les xiquetes amb trastorn de l’espectre autista (TEA) tinguen un paper actiu i siguen protagonistes del seu propi aprenentatge mitjançant el mètode d’assaig-error. Es pretén estudiar si mitjançant aquesta metodologia desenvolupen el seu pensament computacional i aprenen a realitzar trajectes i laberints de manera significant, fent ús de la robòtica educativa. En aquest cas, hem utilitzat un robot educatiu i programable anomenat Bee-Bot. Per poder portar a terme l’estudi, es va formar un grup de quatre xiquets, tots ells participants del Projecte Smile de la Universitat Jaume I. Aquests es troben en el grau 1 de l’autisme, que és el que es denomina com autisme lleu o Síndrome d’Asperger. Aquest estudi s’ha efectuat mitjançant una sèrie d’activitats, gràcies a les quals hem pogut observar que la implementació d’aquesta metodologia afavoreix de manera positiva als alumnes amb TEA i els facilita l’adquisició de nous coneixements.

Nowadays, in the educational environment, there is a big discussion about which methodology is the most adequete to apply in the classroom and center. For this reason, it is very important to investigate and analyze the results of applying new methodologies, studying both negative and positive aspects. The objective of this end-of-degree work (TFG) is to assess the use of a method where autistic spectrum disorders (TEA) have an active role and remain the protagonists of their own learning through the method trial-error. It is tried to study if by means of this methodology they develop their computational thought and learn to realize passages and labyrinths of significant way, doing use of the educational robotics. In this case, we have used an educational and programmable robot called Bee-Bot. To implement the project, we gathered a group of four kids, all of them being members of the Smile Project of the Jaume I University. These are in the first degree of autism, which is what is called autism mild or Asperger's Syndrome. The study consists in a specific number of activities, in which we have observed, thanks to which we have been able to observe that the implementation of this methodology favors positively the students with TEA and facilitates the acquisition of new knowledge.
