Inicio y evolución de las bandas latinas en España. Causas de su constitución y afrontamiento del fenómeno

Abstract

Este trabajo consistirá en la exposición del fenómeno de las bandas latinas en España desde diferentes vertientes y ámbitos. Se determinará el origen de la presencia de jóvenes latinos en España susceptibles de integrarse en una banda. Se explicará el proceso migratorio, así como el conjunto de factores que propician una complicada adaptación e integración en la sociedad española, que deriva en la búsqueda de un grupo de iguales que padezca las mismas circunstancias. También se desvelará el verdadero objetivo que tienen estos grupos, que es diferente para unos que para otros. Para los jóvenes adeptos es una forma de refugiarse de la realidad que se ecuentran cuándo llegan a España, que se aleja mucho de la que ellos hubieran imaginado. Sin embargo, para los jefes o altos mandos, el objetivo es conseguir el mayor poderío y control territorial posible, lucrándose de la comisión de hechos delictivos. También se expondrán las características de actuación y organización de estos grupos, así como los hechos y las operaciones más relevantes que se han realizado. Además, se expondrá el tratamiento que se le ha dado a la problemática, es decir, como se ha afrontado la misma. El objetivo del trabajo es, en todo momento, mostrar la realidad acontecida en España, que se diferencia mucho de la que existe en Estados Unidos o países latinoamericanos, en la que los hechos llevados a cabo son más peligrosos y graves. Por esto, un error que se produjo en su momento fue hacer creer a la sociedad que estas bandas tenían el mismo alcance que en los países anteriormente nombrados, de ahí la contaminación mediática que se produjo. Toda la información recabada, o la gran mayor parte de ella proviene de estudios realizados en base al desarrollo y a las actuaciones de las bandas latinas en España.

This report is intended to inform the exposition of the Latin king gang phenomenon in Spain from different perspectives. The origin of the presence of young Latinos in Spain susceptible to join a band will be determined. The migratory process will be explained, as well as the set of factors that lead to a complicated adaptation and integration in Spanish society, resulting in the search for a group of equals that suffer the same circumstances. It will also unveil the true objective of these groups, which is different for some than for others. For the young adepts it is a way of taking refuge from the reality they encounter when they arrive in Spain, which is far from what they would have imagined. However, for bosses or senior officials, the objective is to achieve the greatest power and territorial control possible, profiting from the commission of criminal acts. The performance and organization characteristics of these groups will also be exposed, as well as the most relevant facts and operations that have been carried out. In addition, the treatment that has been given to the problem, that is, how it has been addressed, will be discussed. The objective of the work is, at all times, to show the reality that occurred in Spain, which is very different from the one that exists in the United States or Latin American countries, in which the facts undertaken are more dangerous and serious. Therefore, an error that occurred at the time was to make society believe that these bands had the same scope as in the countries previously named, hence the media contamination that occurred. All the information gathered, or the great majority of it, comes from studies based on the development and performances of the Latin bands in Spain.
