Bollo International Fruits: analysis of its financial statements

Abstract

The end of degree project aims to carry out the analysis of the financial statements and an assessment of the current situation of the company Bollo International Fruits. In addition, a comparison will be done with 3 companies of the competition: Frutas Tono, Martinavarro and Frutinter. Bollo International Fruits carries out its activity in the sector of the fruit in particular, in the orange and the melons of high quality. The company develops its activity in Benifairó de la Valldigna in Valencia city surrounded by valleys and beautiful citrus fields. Bollo began in the year 1922, because the locality had a large area to exercise this activity and the climate was ideal for this type of citrus. Later, they began to invest in the world of melons as they saw in them a great new market. Nowadays they have many hectares, both nationally and internationally, in particular in Brazil. At present, this company carries out its activity and is one of the potential companies in the world of orange and melons. At the end of this degree project, we will carry out a study of the last 4 years and we´ll analyse of the various changes that the company has suffered throughout these years. As we´ll see in the next pages the company has increased its economic capacity in recent years being a potential company and we´ll soon explore it in detail. Finally, we will finalize with a brief conclusion on all those results that we have detailed throughout the project.
