Abstract

Condenadas a ser libres brota de la pasión que tenemos por contar historias y por apoyo mediático que queremos transmitir con este proyecto. El tema que tratamos en el documental desgraciadamente se puede catalogar como tema tabú en nuestra sociedad: la vida después del cáncer de mama. Esta enfermedad la tenemos muy cerca, todos conocemos a algún familiar o alguna conocida que ha pasado por ello. No obstante, ¿Un vez terminado el tratamiento desaparece el cáncer?, ¿Vuelves a ser la misma persona por fuera y por dentro? ¿Ha afectado el desarrollo de la enfermedad a tu vida diaria?, ¿Puede sentirse bella una mujer que ha pasado esta enfermedad? Estas son algunas de las cuestiones que queremos responder con el máximo respeto a las sobrevivientes de la enfermedad. Este tema se enfocará a través de mujeres con edades diferentes, desde una joven con 26 años hasta una mujer de 78, que cuidan sus cuerpos con cremas, ejercicio físico, buena alimentación… Todo ello es necesario tras el tratamiento y así nos lo hacen ver. Estos diferentes prismas tras la enfermedad otorgarán riqueza en los testimonios, pero también varias similitudes. La más importante es que las ganas de vivir de las cuatro siguen siendo infinitas.
