Sé com et sents. Teoria de la ment i Síndrome de Down

Abstract

La intel·ligència emocional juga, hui dia, un paper molt important en la nostra societat. Els nens i nenes cada vegada estan més sobre-exposats a estímuls als quals han de reaccionar i actuar depenent de la situació en la que es troben. Per aquest motiu, és important que des de les aules ajudem a l’educació emocional dels nens i nenes amb una metodologia inclusiva i promovent l’acceptació i integració de totes les persones, sense tindre en compte les diferències, com en aquest cas, les diferències funcionals. En aquest treball que es mostra a continuació, es presenta un suggeriment de material educatiu inclusiu per treballar amb nens i nenes amb Síndrome de Down durant quatre sessions. En primer lloc, es fa una observació del nivell del grup amb el qual es ficarà en pràctica aquest treball. Conseqüentment, es fa una avaluació inicial, mitjançant el Test de Comprensió Emocional (TEC) (2000) de Pons i Harris, per tal de saber des d’on partim i en què cal fer recalcament. Després de la primera avaluació, es presenten els materials per poder treballar les emocions bàsiques a través de Teoria de la Ment. En aquest cas, un conte amb el qual hauran d’empatitzar amb el personatge i reconèixer com es sent i identificarho amb el material proporcionat. A més, es realitza una activitat lúdica, un joc de memòria, amb les emocions vistes fins al moment, per tal de saber si saben identificar-les en altres situacions. Seguidament, es torna a passar el TEC (2000) per fer una avaluació final i veure que sí que ha hagut una millora gràcies a la intervenció en els usuaris i usuàries de l’associació. Finalment, es plasmen els resultats i les conclusions obtingudes al llarg del procés.

Emotional intelligence plays, today, a very important role in our society. Boys and girls are increasingly over-exposed to stimuli to which they must react and act depending on the situation they are in. For this reason, it is important that from the classroom we help the emotional education of them with an inclusive methodology and promote the acceptance and integration of all people, without taking into account the differences, as in this case, functional differences In this work that is shown below, a suggestion of inclusive educational material is presented to work with children with Down Syndrome during four sessions. In the first place, there is an observation of the level of the group with which this work will be implemented. Consequently, an initial evaluation is carried out, through Pons and Harris' Emotional Understanding Test (TEC) (2000), in order to know where we are going from and where we need to go up. After the first evaluation, the materials are presented to work the basic emotions through Theory of the Mind. In this case, a story with which they must empathize with the character and recognize how they feel and identify with the provided material. In addition, a recreational activity, a memory game, with the emotions seen so far, in order to know if they know how to identify them in other situations. Next, the TEC (2000) is again passed to make a final evaluation and see that there has been an improvement thanks to the intervention in the participants. Finally, the results and the conclusions obtained during the process are reflected.
