La empatía a través de las emociones. Intervención sobre educación emocional en un aula de 4 años

Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda la importancia y la necesidad de la educación y la inteligencia emocional en la etapa de Educación Infantil. Los centros educativos no tienen por costumbre trabajar las emociones, pero estas son la base de nuestras acciones. Si se enseñan en las aulas, el alumnado podrá desarrollar la empatía, ya que esta empieza con el conocimiento de las emociones. Por ello, se debe prestar especial atención a la expresión de las emociones, así como hablar sobre ellas. Por todo esto, se ha realizado una fundamentación teórica que aborda la necesidad y la importancia de la educación y la inteligencia emocional. Esta también incluye la importancia de enseñar las emociones en aulas de Educación Infantil, pasando por las inteligencias múltiples de Gardner. Además, se entiende el juego como una herramienta de aprendizaje y se hace hincapié en la necesidad de promover el pensamiento crítico del alumnado. Tras esto, se propone una intervención en un aula de 4 años para favorecer el desarrollo de la empatía, que no se puede conseguir sin conocer las emociones. El objetivo general de esta intervención es proponer una intervención sobre educación emocional en un aula de 4 años. En ella, se realizarán actividades divididas en tres bloques: las emociones, la autoestima, y la empatía. Para concluir, se expondrán los resultados obtenidos y una conclusión final

This paper deals with the importance and the necessity of emotional education and emotional intelligence in the stage of early childhood education. Schools do not have the habit of teaching the emotions, but this are the basis of our actions. If they are taught in the classrooms, the students can develop empathy, since it starts with the knowledge of emotions. Therefore, special attention must be paid to the expression of the emotions, as well as talking about them. For all this, a theoretical foundation that addresses the need and the importance of emotional education and emotional intelligence has been done. This also includes the importance of teaching the emotions in classrooms of pre-school education, passing by the multiple intelligences of Gardner. In addition, playing is understood as a learning tool and it also emphasizes the need to promote students’ critical thinking. After this, an intervention in a four years old classroom is proposed to promote empathy’s development, which can not be achieved without knowing the emotions. This intervention’s overall objective is to propose an intervention on emotional education in a 4 years old classroom. There will be activities divided into three blocks in it: the emotions, self-esteem, and empathy. To conclude, the results obtained and a final revision will be exposed.
