Análisis de la teoría de mente y las relaciones entre iguales en Infantil

Abstract

Este trabajo, pretende investigar las relaciones entre iguales que existen durante la edad infantil, observando el por qué es bueno que los niños y las niñas se relacionen entre sí. Todo ello se hará mediante el análisis de la Teoría de la Mente de 12 alumnos/as de un aula de 2º de Educación Infantil. Al realizar este estudio, se puede determinar la empatía de los participantes y su relación con el status social que tienen los miembros del grupo en clase. El primer paso es definir el objetivo principal de este estudio, que es relacionar la popularidad con la empatía hacia otro. Lo que lleva a la hipótesis de esta investigación: los niños y las niñas más populares del aula son más empáticos, y los rechazados son los que peor empatizan. La metodología se basa en un test sociométrico en el que se extraen las nominaciones recibidas de los niños y niñas de este grupo, y se analizan los valores mediante una matriz sociométrica. A continuación, se elabora un sociograma que permite conocer las elecciones y rechazos de cada participante, y diagnosticar quiénes son los populares y rechazados de la clase. Otro instrumento que se efectúa es un análisis de Teoría de la Mente, a través de 7 test que permiten medir el grado de empatía que se puede desarrollar en Educación Infantil. A través de estos instrumentos, se obtienen los resultados de compatibilidad optima entre popularidad y empatía, y la relación no tan favorable entre rechazo y empatía.

This paper aims to investigate the relationships between peers that exist during childhood, looking at why it is good for children to relate to each other. All this will be done through the analysis of the Theory of the Mind of 12 students in a 2nd grade Infant Education classroom. By conducting this study, the empathy of the participants and their relationship with the social status of the group members in class can be determined. The first step is to define the main objective of this study, which is to relate popularity to empathy towards another. This leads to the hypothesis of this research: the most popular children in the classroom are more empathetic, and the rejected are the ones who empathise the worst. The methodology is based on a sociometric test in which the nominations received from the children in this group are extracted and the values are analysed using a sociometric matrix. Then, a sociogram is elaborated that allows to know the choices and rejections of each participant, and to diagnose who are the popular and rejected of the class. Another instrument that is carried out is an analysis of the Theory of the Mind, through 7 tests that allow us to measure the degree of empathy that can be developed in Infant Education. Through these instruments, optimal compatibility results are obtained between popularity and empathy, and the not so favorable relationship between rejection and empathy.
