Límites a la participación ciudadana: un estudio sobre la descomposición de la democracia, sus principios e instituciones

Abstract

En el presente trabajo de investigación se tratará de dar respuesta a por qué se limita la participación política a la ciudadanía, siendo que esta es la que legítimamente posee el poder político. Así el trabajo se encuentra estructurado en tres partes. En primer lugar, comparando diferentes épocas y sus argumentos, se podrá ver que esa limitación proviene del miedo de las clases altas hacia las clases bajas, y especialmente a que éstas irrumpieran en el poder, aportando las medidas e instrumentos que han ayudado a impedir el acceso político a las clases trabajadoras. En segundo lugar, se analizará el artificio simbólico creado que compone el sistema representativo y su contradicción interna, así como la relación entre la clase hegemónica a partir de las revoluciones contemporáneas y la apropiación de las instituciones y valores democráticos. Por último, en la tercera parte, se rastrearán las razones límites impuestos a la soberanía popular y nacional en España, analizando los procesos que conducen a ello.

In the present research work we will try to give answers to the fact that political participation gets restricted to the citizens, being that they legitimately own the political power. This work has been organized in three parts: First one, comparing different periods and its arguments, it will show us that limitation comes from the fear from the upper class seeing the lower class assuming the power, providing them with measures and instruments than have helped them to prevent working class accessing into politics; in the second place, the artificial trick that forms the representative system and its internal contradiction will get analyzed in detail, just as the relationship between the hegemonic class since contemporary revolutions and the misappropriation of institutions and democratic values. Finally, in the third part, it will get established the reasons for Spain losing popular and national sovereignty, by analyzing the tools for executing that aim.
